Want An Amazing Sandwich? Garlic Cilantro Mayo

Garlic Cilantro Mayonnaise is the answer! Here is my recipe.

3 heaping Tbsp's Mayonnaise
5 heaping Tbsp's Cilantro leaves chopped
4-5 cloves of Garlic chopped finely

Mix all the ingredients together and spread! You will have some left over. Save the left over because it is the best part! When you store the Garlic Cilantro Mayonnaise in your fridge the flavors incorporate together much better. So the next day it will taste better on your sandwich!

Note: You can also spice it up with a little pinch of Cayenne!

Exfoliate Exfoliate Exfoliate

Everywhere you turn every beauty guru or advertisement is telling us if we want to have beautiful skin we must EXFOLIATE! Everyone always complements me on my complexion and one of my secrets is...

I exfoliate! After I put my facial cleanser on I exfoliate with a small round facial loofah. You have to get the loofah wet so it's not too harsh on your gentle skin. And, exfoliate with the loofah in small round motions on your face.  Then rinse and moisturize which is also another one of my secret's. It's also nice to know that these loofah's are made of natural materials.

All Day Curls With Sebastian Re-Shaper

Along with having an amazing curling iron (see post below) it's also important having a good hairspray to hold the curls in place. If you're not using a strong hair spray your curls will fall and that won't make you too happy. I experimented with a bunch of different drug store hair sprays which left my hair sticky and crunchy. This was not something I was interested in. So I asked my local beauty shop girl about a good spray.

She turned me on to Sebastian Re-Shaper which is the only spray I can stand to use. It doesn't make my hair sticky or crunchy. It makes my curls seem like they came out that way naturally. The good thing with this spray is you can brush it out and restyle your hair even after you have curled it! So if your hair was curled for your job in the morning ,and you want a different look going out just brush it out. Or even brush your hair out with your fingers and you have loose waves. This hair spray is great and I recommended it. 

Hot Tools Curling Iron

Hot Tools 1 inch curling iron is by far my favorite curling iron out there right now. I have tried drugstore brands in the past and was never happy with the way my curls came out. But Hot Tools makes beautiful salon style curls so easily accessible at home! And, once you get used to curling your hair it takes minutes to do later on.

So if you've ever wanted to curl your own hair at home and not pay a pricey fee at a salon go ahead and get a hot tools curling iron! The 1 inch is my favorite because it leaves me with beautiful curls. If the barrel is any bigger the curls will eventually fall out even with the strongest hair spray. With a very reasonable price it would be an investment to get one of these curling irons!

Beauty Find - Moisturizer edition

     Many people struggle to find the perfect facial moisturizer. I myself was one of those people. I have tried many brands and none were right for me. Most of them left a greasy feel on my skin and that is a major no no for me. Also, in the winter my skin tends to get dry and red so I need something that will remedy this issue as well. The moisturizer that I found to be a good fit for me is Aveeno's Ultra Calming Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15 and feverfew. It is ultra calming and good for my sensitive skin and it reduces my skins dry and redness factor. It also has a foaming face wash which I also own. The wash cleanses my skin without the harshness that some cleansers have.


Tip- Always wash your face before applying moisturizer. This will allow the moisturizer to absorb into your skin and work better. It will also diminish or lessen the greasy factor. 

 

SoftLips Pearl

I was never a fan of lipstick when I was younger but as I got older I wanted some tint to my lips. I also hated the flavors many lip products came in. I recently got a pack of SoftLips in pearl and it is delightfully flavored and the light metallic tint is very flattering. My lips are in love with this product. So check it out your lips might just be in love with it too!

Pretty Spring Nails

I made my way to the local beauty store again to get some pretty spring nail color. I found what I was looking for in Essie's Marshmallow. It is a pretty white color that is versatile because it can be used for either french tip or applied to the full nail. I like mine in a light sheer coating. Check it out!

Drugstore Find Quene Helene's Mint Julip Masque

I was looking for a face mask that would work and be fun to use at the same time. I found exactly what I was looking for in Queen Helene's Mint Julip Masque. I was surprised that it was also so reasonably priced. An 8oz tube cost me $3.99 at Rite Aid. As soon as I put it on I felt a tingle in my skin and oh did it tingle! As the green masque dried on my face I thought of old episodes of I Love Lucy.

As the masque is drying you can feel this pulling and shrinking sensation on your skin that takes some getting used to for new users. But that's probably just the masque in action. The mask does have a sulfur scent that doesn't appeal to me but it's worth the results. As I washed the mask off of my face I noticed that my pores had been cleaned out! My skin also looks so much better. I recommend this product for anyone who nice skin! A friend of mine also tired it after I recommended it to her and she conquers. Quene Helene's Mint Julip Masque is a must have!
