I have heard many times that seaweed is good for you. It provides our bodies with many healthy minerals and nutrients. And I for one love the way it tastes. So today for a healthy snack I made myself a salad roll!
To Assemble:
1) Get 1 Nori sheet.
2) Spread some guacamole, avocado, or my Amazing Homemade Salad Dressing (from the bottom post) on top of the Nori sheet and distribute evenly.
3) Place your salad on top. I used romaine, cucumber, and tomato pieces. Then simply roll to a wrap and enjoy!
This is a simple twist with a yummy reward!

Recipe- Amazing Homemade Salad Dressing
I always want to incorporate salad into my day, but have a hard time because my palate gets easily bored with salad dressing. Well I have come up with an amazingly simple and delicious recipe. This recipe will probably be too much for one serving unless you are making a huge bowl of salad for a group of people. If that is not that case you can simply store the left overs in the refrigerator for another day. I would say use it within 3 days.
So here is the recipe...
Ingredients:
1 1/2- 2 Tbsp. Dijon Mustard
1 Tbsp. Balsamic Vinaigrette
1/2 a lemon squeezed
3 Tbsp. Olive Oil
Dash of Cayenne pepper
Dash of salt
2 tsp. very finely grated ginger
3 cloves of fresh garlic put through a garlic press
Steps:
1) Add the first 6 ingredients in a bowl and mix with a fork in round motions. The mixture will become thick.
2) Add the grated ginger and the crushed garlic to the above and mix.
3) Put on your salad and enjoy! I know you will!
Note: I recommend you mix up your greens. I had romaine lettuce at home so that is what I used. But, I also love arugula, dandelion, radicchio, and spinach. I also added to my salad an apple sliced very thinly, and used the side of my grater to make super thin cucumber rounds. It was very filling and delicious!

Beauty Find - Smith's Rosebud Salve
This time of year wrecks havoc on most people's skin. So a lot of people tend to also have dry, chapped lips. I have tried many different lip moisturizers but they have artificial flavors that don't appeal to me. I recently bought Smith's Rosebud Salve
. It comes in a cute little round container and adds a subtle rose flavor to your lips while it moisturizes.
This would be a great mother's day present since most moms love the smell of roses. They also love to feel beautiful! So along with a bouquet of roses treat your mom and yourself to this stuff. It's really delightful!
