Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Interesting day

Yesterday I went to the library to pick up some books I had ordered and on the way there I was stopped at a red light in a very busy intersection and this woman in front of me decided to stop and get out of her car and look through her trunk! After about a minute or so of looking (not even worrying about the light changing) she took out a package and proceeded back into her car.

And then I finally got to the library and was it packed! There was a traffic jam in the parking lot because people were looking for parking spaces and there were none available. I put my parking space finder skills to good use and found a space fast! Then as I was walking towards the entrance I saw some annoying looking lady with her child were walking to the check out station (where I was headed). I started to walk faster but there was no way I could beat them there. They had so many books and dvds I knew this would take forever and I was in a hurry.

As the librarian got my books and I checked out I began to head to my car and I noticed that the lady and her child were still at the counter and she had to pay late fees but somehow got out of the payment by putting her current rentals on another library card. I thought eww, just pay the money lady! On my way out the door I noticed some interesting free catalogs they had out and I wanted to take one but then saw that someone had peed on them! Who would have done something like that? Then I thought I hope it was a dog and not a person because that would just be disturbing!

As I sat in my car about to drive off that irritating lady and her child finally got to their car and the lady was on her cellphone. She was speaking very loudly in a foreign language and had her aviator glasses on like she was something or someone special. So I was trying to back out and this lady was blocking the exit with her car while she was on her cellphone which is also illegal in this state! She had a bunch of cars honking and the motorists were irritated by her. Still on her phone, she proceeded to make a hand gesture as if it was everyone else's fault we were all being held up by her. To where I loudly said you've got to be kidding me! And, get off your phone lady and drive.

Anyways, so I got out of there and was happy to have done so. Within a few minutes I had seen some interesting people. I think it is important to be courteous of other people and try to be respectful of people and all living things and it just bothersome when people are so unconcerned about others. I don't know what it is that makes people this way but it's a sad thing in my opinion.

Grocery shopping tips for deals

Before going to the grocery store. I save a bunch of time and money comparing prices online at competing grocers websites. There is usually a tab for online shopping where you can enter your zip code and it shows you the prices for items for that particular store near your area. Now it doesn't have every single item you might be looking for but they usually do have alot. You can even sometimes take advantage of free delivery offers some stores may have if you're a busy person and just don't have the time or patience to go grocery shopping (Especially during the holidays where every store is packed with people and items are sold out).

Also, some grocer sites have links on the website where the store posts coupons for certain items. You can also find additional coupons online at those manufactures websites. Lets say something like dish soap you can go to the brands website and they will usually have coupons that you can print out and take to the store with you to save additional money on top of store sale prices.

Good luck!!!

Getting blood drawn

I am NOT a calm person when it comes to getting my blood drawn. So today as I went to get it drawn, I was waiting in the patient room and I see this huge needle! And this big fat vile which would contain my blood and I got even more anxious. I thought to myself, "That's going to be alot of blood! OMG!" Then the lady was taking my blood and I noticed it was taking forever so I asked her if she was almost done and she said, "Oh about halfway." "What!?!", I began to think, "why is this taking so long?" I mean this is runny liquid not something slow moving like molasses!

So she was done and then I happened to look down and she had collected 3 fat big viles! Not like the skinny regular viles I had seen before. Oh man I didn't sign up for that! Then she is showing the blood to me like its a show pony asking me to verify they have the correct name on the vile. I just about passed out when I saw how she was HSN (home shopping network) displaying my viles of blood in her hands!

Rockin' Mexican Pizza Recipe by: Shenanigans Daily

This recipe is so easy to prepare and is so delicious! It is also pretty healthy so go ahead and try it out. You won't be sorry you did!

Rockin' Mexican Pizza
-----------------------

You will need:

1- Flour tortillas (I prefer the ones for soft tacos)
2- One half of a tomato diced
3- One half of an onion diced
4- Couple dashes of hot sauce (I prefer Cholula), plus more for topping it off
5- 1 Tbsp Cumin powder
6- 1.5 tsp Cayenne pepper
7- 1 can Vegetarian Refried Beans (It's healthier!)
8- Half a handful of any cheese you prefer such as Mozzarella
9- 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice

Directions:

1- Add diced tomato and onion into a small nonstick saucepan on low heat just for a minute. Add the refried beans, lemon juice, hot sauce, and spices. Heat it while mixing throughly until combined. Turn stove off.

2- Get the flour tortilla and put a few tablespoons of the bean mixture onto the center. With the back of a spoon spread the mixture just like you would spread pizza sauce on a regular pizza. Working from center towards outwards, but leave a bit of a crust so you can hold the pizza when eating.

3- Sprinkle the top with the cheese, and at this point my preference is to dash some hot sauce on top, but go with your preference. I then put the pizza in a toaster oven until the crust become a bit golden and I know the pizza is semi crunchy. You can also probably put it in a standard oven but don't leave it in longer then to be toasted. I would say probably a couple minutes or so on pretty low heat.

Note: You can get creative with toppings if you prefer such as adding sour cream on top, cilantro, jalapeƱos etc.

ENJOY!!!

Hardware store trip

So today I went to the hardware store. It is a rather famous store with a big orange sign. I wanted to go and look at a grill they had for sale. I had noticed by searching the web that other stores had the same grill for a cheaper price but I wanted to go to the closest store and just see what it looked like in person. I wasn't really in need of it right away but was curious based on research I had done online. Before I went to the store I called to see if they had the grill in stock and if they has one that was assembled. The employee I spoke with said they had one of the grills already assembled and that they had grills in stock for purchase. He also informed me (after I asked) that they price match.

I decided to go check this grill out. So as I was walking to the doors of the store they have this large sign that was posted outside that was also somewhat obstructed however I seemed to notice it anyway. It said something like they not only price match but they beat their competitors price by 10% and well in these economic times and for me any time money matters! I hate spending more money on an item that I can get for cheaper somewhere else. So I was excited when I saw this sign and the store indeed did honor it and gave me no hassle at all. So if you're out there looking to buy something always always always look online for better deals and coupons.

Also, I suggest before you go to the store call them and see if the item is in stock and if they do match prices with other stores. Do this so you don't waste your time or gasoline. Sometimes you have to have your eyes open too. Such as if I had not seen that sign that gave me an extra 10% off I would have been spending more money at the register. This would have happened because the employees had no idea about the sign and I would have not saved as much! So always be on the look out for deals and more deals!
