A couple of weeks ago I bought a Limited Edition Air Wick plug in. It was my first time ever using such a product. I had been wanting to try a product like it for sometime and had passed them in the aisles of my frequented stores. Just lately I decided to give in and buy a one pack, because it was placed right at the register, and cost less then $3. I thought why not make the house smell nice for the Holidays...
Bad decision with this scent. Winter & Candle Light Warmth. I have to admit it made my house smell. But I didn't like the smell at all. It smells like cheap candy and perfume. Today however, I decided to try another smell a more festive scent. So I tried the Glistening Cinnamon Rolls which is also a Limited Edition. WOW! I am in love! This is the perfect Thanksgiving and Holiday smell. I will definitely stock up on this stuff and suggest you try it out for the Holidays as well. Smells of heavenly cinnamon.

Favorite Natural Lip Balm Find!
This is the time of year where lip balm is a must. But I hate those gross lip moisturizers with artificial and disgusting ingredients. I stumbled upon my solution at the Whole Foods aisle with their Whole Food brand name Organic Vanilla Honey Lip Balm! OMG! It cost less then $2 and is just amazing. Works just like the other stuff if not better, and it tastes like honey!
The strangest thing happened the other day when I actually was craving something sweet, put this balm on and my craving went away! Who knew? This stuff is great and natural and organic! It's made with coconut oil, beeswax, olive oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, hemp seed oil, honey, vitamin e, vanilla extract, and honey. Umm okay how awesome are those ingredients?!
This stuff will be my lip care staple from now on! I love Whole Foods!

Raw Recipe- Asian Cucumber Salad
This salad is simply delicious, and very healthy! It is a take on a cucumber salad you would find in an Asian restaurant.
Ingredients:
3-4 small cucumbers sliced very thinly
1 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar (We prefer the one sold at Trader Joe's)
2 tsp grated fresh ginger
1 Tbsp honey
A pinch of Himalayan salt
Steps:
Mix all the ingredients and enjoy! The serving size of this is a generous snack sized salad for one person.
Note: I added a few thinly slice strawberries to my salad, and I must say it tasted even better!

Best Bagged Healthy Popcorn
The best bagged healthy popcorn I have ever eaten has to hands down be the Whole Foods brand organic bagged popcorn. It is sold at Whole Foods for $1.99 for a large 16 ounce bag, which is very affordable compared to some other unhealthy treats (fried potato chips, crappy chemical microwave popcorn's).
So for this year's Halloween horror movie marathon make sure to have some in your cupboard!

Trader Joe's Pumpkin Ice Cream
If you like pumpkin, or pumpkin pie you have to rush into Trader Joe's in order to pick up some of their delicious and creamy Pilgrim Joe's Pumpkin Ice Cream. It is so smooth, and flavorful. Full of that delicious pumpkin pie flavor.
I like to leave mine out for a few minutes in order for some of the ice cream to liquefy, then I like to crumble a a couple of cookies in there. So really the cookies can be like a pumpkin pie crust. Yummm! I rate this ice cream a 5 out of 5! It sure is a treat for Halloween this year!

Best Eyeliner Neutrogena Nourishing Eye Liner
I use eyeliner almost everyday. I am so tired of expensive eyeliners that don't meet up to my expectations. And, the drug store ones usually irritate my eyes. Well I have found my new favorite eyeliner. I think it was around $6 at Target. I am so pleased with it, and think you will be too.
I usually like to buy eyeliner pencils, however this liner is like a pencil but doesn't have the wood encasing the coloring itself. It is also ophthalmologist (eye doctor) approved. The ingredients also didn't have most of the yucky stuff you would normally find in an eyeliner.
The eyeliner is by Neutrogena, it's called Neutrogena nourishing eye liner, and the color is called "Cosmic Black". It glides on smooth and stays on. It doesn't irritate my eye at all. The only problem I find with this product is, when I wash it off and my skin, it dry it tends to make my dark circles darker. But, then again which eyeliner doesn't do that? Oh and the liner has a built in sharpener which is a must.
Try this product out and tell me how you feel about it!

Chia Gel Recipe
Chia gel is very simple to make. Many vegetarians and raw foodists like to use chia seeds. It is an Aztec superfood that is easily available nowadays. I like to put it in my smoothies. It also keeps you hydrated in the form of chia gel. But be careful if you eat the seeds alone without soaking them they might cause you to get dehydrated because chia seeds absorb 10x their volume in water. So be sure to soak them into chia gel or drink plenty of water.
Chia are rich in Omega 3 fatty acids which are very good for you. They are also a good source of fiber, calcium, zinc, iron, and other minerals. Here is a simple way to make chia gel.
1 tbsp dry chia seeds
9 tbsp filtered water
-Mix with a spoon until all the seeds are wet and then store in the fridge overnight.
Tip- Some people like to soak them in milk instead of water, and they add ingredients like cinnamon and honey to make a chia pudding.

Trader Joe's Golden Caramel Swirl Ice Cream
Ugh!!! Yes please! I have tried ice cream from many stores and really cannot stand most of them. They are dry/ chalky in texture and sometimes even flavor. The only ice cream that I crave is Thrifty brand ice cream. It is usually on sale as well for an amazing 2 for $5 for a big tub. Their flavors are also so yummy!
Today it was extremely hot where I live and I was at my local Trader Joes. Needless to say I wanted some ice cream but didn't want to drive to Rite Aid to get some. So I came upon this sweet concoction. The price is not as good as the Rite Aid huge tub, but I don't want to eat that much ice cream either. So I got a pint of Trader Joe's Golden Caramel Swirl Premium Ice Cream. It was so yummy, and creamy. The caramel is salty and has fleur de sel salt in it. It is a swirl of caramel in a combination of chocolate and vanilla ice cream. So yummy and who can beat those three flavors combined? Caramel, vanilla, and chocolate...Yes please!

Sambal Chili Sauce
I have a new obsession! This stuff is extremely tasty, it's hot, it's inexpensive, and super crave worthy! The stuff I am talking about is Sambal Chili Sauce. I had gotten take out at my local Thai place and they gave me some chili sauce, of which I could not get enough. I looked for something similar at the local Target and I found it! You can put this stuff on everything! Eggs, pasta, rice, tacos, etc. It makes them all taste so much yummier. You can also adjust with more or less to your spicy craving.
If you're a fan of spicy or salty food you have to check this stuff out no joke! The only problem you might encounter is wanting to use it all the time...At least that is my problem.

Find- Tyson Grilled & Ready Chicken Strips
I was at the store today and wanted to add some grilled chicken on my salad dinner. In the past I have bought grilled ready chicken and it tasted horrible, not to mention the texture was rubbery. I saw Tyson Grilled and Ready Fully Cooked Southwest Chicken Breast Strips in the freezer aisle. Yes, it's a mouth full, but what a mouth full it is. I read the stats and a 3 oz. serving is 120 calories with 1g saturated fat, and 19 grams of protein. Not bad I thought, so I grabbed a bag.
I came home and put some of the strips in the microwave for 4 minutes while I prepared my salad. WOW!!! These chicken strips are easy, large, tasty, and they seem like I had just grilled them on the bbq. You would never think that I had microwaved them. I bought a bag at the local warehouse store for $8.99. Later on I saw the same exact thing on sale at Target for $5.99!!! I also bought some there as well. This stuff is great and will be a freezer staple for me. Look for it in your freezer aisle.

St Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Scrub
Yesterday I went to my local drugstore and wandered around the aisles for good deals. I ended up finding an amazing product! I am talking about St Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Scrub
. It is so amazing, and it smells awesome too! It is oil free, contains salicylic acid, it's not tested on animals, does not contain animal products, and it's formulated without parabens or phthalates.
It says it is supposed to clear and soothe skin as well as reduce redness and acne. I do not have acne but this scrub is so gentle and amazing! It removed all my dry skin and makeup and leaves soft and wonderful smelling skin behind. I have sensitive skin too and it works marvelously with my skin type. I also gave some of this product to a friend and she too found it awesome. So check this product out next time you're at the store. Or you can find it on amazon here

Easter Egg Dyeing Tip
Welcome Easter! If you're like me and everyone else who likes to dye eggs for Easter you know that when boiling the eggs sometimes they some of them tend to crack. So here is a little tip I have learned over the past few years to come out with crack free eggs. If you put the cold eggs in the boiling water much of them will crack. So instead put your eggs in regular room temperature water and then boil them together.
Happy Easter!

Animal Crackers- Annie's Bunny Graham Friends
I reccently had an intense craving for something sweet like graham crackers or animal crackers. I ended up checking out their ingredients at the store and decided my craving needed to relax because I was not going to eat hydrogenated oils. Which are indeed trans fats. So as I was walking out of the aisle my eyes stumbled upon this cool retro tie dye box with cute little bunny cookies on it.
I had in fact come into contact with Annie's Bunny Graham Friends
. Let me tell you when I turned the box to its side to read the ingredient's I was pleasantly surprised at how many organic ingredients were present. All this with no butter or unhealthy hydrogentated oils? Yes! Cookie jack pot! The box includes honey graham bunnies, chocolate bunnies, and chocolate chip bunnies. They are so good let me tell you. Everytime you reach into the box you never know which one you'll get and you will be delighted with each one you eat.
